NHS CONSULTANT PROFILE/NHS CONSULTANT SCANNING SERVICES | | Dr M Aslam (FRCR, DNB, DMRD, MBBS. DPD, MD) - Consultant Radiologist in NHS
Dr Aslam joined Southend Hospital NHS Trust in 2000 as a general Consultant Radiologist. After training at Bangalore Medical College he began his career in radiology at St Marthaas Hospital, Bangalore, where he established the ultrasound unit and was fully in charge during his 5 year tenure.
Further positions include registrar in Radiology at King Khalid University Hospital, Saudi Arabia and Specialist Registrar at the University Hospitals of Leicester, where he succeeded in a two year fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at the Glenfield Hospital, Leciester. Dr Aslams special interests are in cross-sectional imaging (ultrasound, CT and MRI). | | Lorraine West - Administrative -officer in-charge / Ultrasound service manager
Lorraine has been working for this service since 2007. She has been trained in specialist service redesign in a leading Harley Street Practice. She works also for the South West Essex PCT based at Purfleet Care Centre. T Sandra Laver - Administration
